Tew wants to go to college, but he’s not your typical student.

He doesn’t want to get into student debt. So he comes up with a genius idea.

He created a website called The Million Dollar Homepage.

It consists of a million pixels arranged in a 1000 × 1000 pixel grid with image-based links.

The pixels were put up for a price of 1$ / pixel.

He pitches it to friends and family as a piece of internet history and makes a few thousand bucks.

Word spreads.

Brands & Businesses pay thousands to get the biggest advertisement.

He’s sold out in 2 months and makes a million bucks.

Genius🤯🤑

Although, he decided to drop out of college after a few months.

Story of Calm

It’s 2012.

He comes up with an app idea that helps people meditate.

He used another ingenious marketing to spread the word about the launch of the app.

The creators put together a website that challenged visitors to do nothing for 60 seconds and promoted this challenge on social platforms.

Many people flooded the website and took part in the challenge.

Their idea was validated and they also collected a lot of emails.

Once the app was ready, they converted some of the people who took part of the challenge into paying customers.

Now, the app is valued at $2.4B🤑.
